Where it all began

Kelly's Angel was our first rehab horse. Purchased from a horse rescue Angel had been seized by animal control along with 11 other mares. Her life as a brood mare on a big racing farm had been good - until they sold her to someone who wanted to start a farm of their own. Unfortunately the new owner lost his main business during the recession and could not afford to feed the horses.

After we bought her from the rescue center she had to be treated for ulcers for 120 days. It took a long time for her to gain weight and get in shape. But now Angel is the Queen of our stables and our biggest success story !
